Brisbane Powerhouse is located next to New Farm Park on the banks of the Brisbane river. Street access is via 119 Lamington Street, New Farm (continuation of James St).

Please Note: There is limited car parking at Brisbane Powerhouse.  We encourage all patrons to catch public transport where possible.  If you are travelling by car, please allow ample time to locate a car park at either Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm Park or surrounding areas.

Construction on the section of shared pathway south of the Powerhouse will commence in April 2010 and be completed by mid- 2010, weather permitting. Throughout construction pedestrian access to the Powerhouse will be via the section of New Farm Park adjacent to the ring road. Please see the attached map to check details.

Taxi drop off is inside the Brisbane Powerhouse car park beside the Stores Building. A direct dial phone to Black and White cabs is located near the Box Office at Brisbane Powerhouse.

By Car

There is convenient free parking available from 8.30am - midnight Monday to Friday and 6.30am - midnight Saturday and Sunday in New Farm Park (access via Brunswick St). Alternatively, there is limited free parking onsite (access via Lamington St, a continuation of James St).
