This contemporary studio-style "black box" theatre provides a flexible performance space suitable for theatre, dance, comedy and music productions, public lectures, seminars, and conferences.
Powerhouse Theatre Modes
Standard end on mode is included in Venue Hire Fee.
Other modes incur an additional charge to set up and return the seating to the standard mode. These fees will be dependant on the extent of changes required and charged back to the hirer post-event.

In standard mode, seating in the Powerhouse Theatre is made up of a stalls area (seating 425), a balcony (seating 49), lower side gallery seats (seating 14 each side) and upper side gallery seats (seating 31 in total).
Stage
In standard end on mode the flexible open stage area is approx. 15m W x 10m D X 9m H, walkable grid, sprung timber floor.
