Brisbane Powerhouse presents
A brush with the real world - interactive performance
Tue 6 - Wed 7 Jul 2010
Drawing on children's love of visual fantasy, a Brush with the Real World tells a comical story about an animator and his character. The character, Rupert, is a bad tempered artist who makes demands until his creator eventually shows him the limitations of his cartoon world.
This show uses 3D motion capture technology to create a cartoon environment kids can not only watch but participate in.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
