Bang! Crash! Tap! from Raw Dance is a mind-blowing dance and percussion stage spectacular featuring one of Australia’s most talented drummers, the London Beat Boxing Champion, and two of the fastest tap dancers ever to hit the earth.

Creative Producer and Raw Dance founder Andrew Fee has toured the world as Director, Producer and Performer for many of Raw Dance’s outstanding works. His trademark mix of funk/hip-hop, tap and acrobatics is a cornerstone of Raw Dance’s style.

Award-winning composer and percussionist Gene Peterson is quickly establishing himself as one of Australia’s leading musicians. He has performed at festivals throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East – and all this by the age of 20.

Dance Captain Reece Hopkins toured earlier this year with Raw Dance to Amsterdam and Singapore where the show PROJECT X achieved sold out box offices, huge audiences and nine standing ovations.

Jonny Grant – AKA Dr Rhythm – is one of the world’s top beat boxers and one of Australia’s favourite entertainers. He brings humour, skills you wouldn’t believe and some banging beats to Bang! Crash! Tap!

This special performance at the QUT Festival Theatre – an amphitheatre constructed in the Powerhouse’s Plaza – promises laughs, gasps, amazing moves and plenty of raw energy.

The Plaza at the Brisbane Powerhouse is set to take off when QUT Festival Theatre, a temporary amphitheatre, takes up residence for Brisbane Festival 2010 outside the iconic arts venue.
