Sylent Running brings New York-based Australian Jazz pianist and composer Barney McAll back to our shores in a unique collaboration with Australian singer, Gian Slater and featuring rising star guitarist, Nir Felder.

Now established on the intensely competitive New York jazz scene, dynamic jazz pianist Barney McAll’s musical world is wide, taking him from mood-setting jazz to Afro-Cuban bata music and back again via electronica. McAll's music is utterly contemporary and his ability to craft memorable themes is matched by a feel for the atmospheric.

The unique and prodigious Gian Slater is the rarest of singers – a complete musician and true virtuoso, whose mastery of her instrument is in total service to a powerful emotional immediacy in her music.

Sylent Running is made up of compositions written by both by Barney and Gian, creating eerie, subterranean spaces reflecting the chaos and beauty of our accelerated technological age.
