You may not think that I’m a boy, but boy I am.

With the recent explosion of female-to-male transgender, conversations about trans issues in the lesbian community have faced resistance by the many queer women who view transitioning as a "trend" or anti-feminist act that taps into male privilege.

Boy I Am is a feature-length documentary that breaks down that barrier and promotes dialogue about trans issues through the experiences of three young transitioning FTMs (Nicco, Norie and Keegan) in New York City and the voices of lesbians, activists, and theorists who raise and address the questions that many people have but don’t discuss.
