Fresh from supporting Boy George in London, the UK’s hottest gay rapper, QBoy, will perform for the first time in Oz at QBFF. This is one sexy 25-year-old and he’s got the music to match. Come gay, come straight, come male, come female – you’re in for one hell of a party!

QBoy’s got a few impressive things under his belt: international tours, his debut EP release, a new album, Moxie, and more… Three years ago the "half Essex, half Spanish but 100% queer” rapper unleashed his love for hip hop after hooking up with scratch DJ and webmaster mistermaker, creator of gayhiphop.com. QBoy, a long time hip-hop fan and street dancer, worked as website editor and chief journalist, interviewing artists like Terri Walker, Princess Superstar, Blu Cantrell and Mark Ronson.

Inspired by such artists, QBoy crafted a rap career with the gay hip-hop collective Q-Fam who scored the front-page feature for gay publication, The Pink Paper. After a successful run playing Leicester, Birmingham, Brighton and EuroPride in Manchester, QBoy landed a glorious feature in XY magazine, realised his potential and has since performed across Europe and the US. And now BQFF gets a piece of him!
