This year’s program is the biggest in the ninth-year history of the festival. We’ve hand-picked an eclectic selection of award winning features, shorts and documentaries from around the world to deliver a festival that we hope will make you laugh, make you cry, inspire you, shock you – and, as always, challenge the dominant paradigm.
Join us for the Gala Opening Night screening the finalists from our short film competition and kick your heels up at the biggest queer party of the year featuring a very special guest DJ. Brisbane Queer Film Festival contains films that are unclassified and therefore the entire festival is rated R. Films in this festival are legally restricted to 18+years. Photo ID may be required when collecting tickets and attending film sessions.
