Clocked Out: Amazing Women 3

Amazing music by amazing women: from modernism to minimalism to transcendentalism. Featuring critically acclaimed sound designer Natasha Anderson.

Celebrating the diversity of music composed by women over the past 15 years, the “Amazing Women” series was created in 2005 by Vanessa Tomlinson (Clocked Out). For the third installment, Melbourne-based Natasha Anderson will combine the impossible sounds of Garklien, bass recorder and electronics to create works in which objective framings of sound, presence and image are brought into question.

Also on the program are works by Russian Galina Ustvolskaya, Korean Unsuk Chin, Finn Kaija Saariaho and American Annie Gosfield.
