Bruce Lee died in his early 30s a film star, martial arts expert, respected director, author and philosopher. Dave Thornton is in his early 30s and none of those things.
He has performed in Montreal, New York, Cape Town and Edinburgh though – so that’s a start. He’s also the host of the national Saturday Sessions on Nova and is a regular on Network Ten’s The 7PM Project.
His 2010 show, A Different Type of Normal, sold out at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival and will be released on DVD in 2011.
