The 27 piece Doch Gypsy Orchestra returns with string and cimbalom-driven madness, powerful percussive conversation and bold brash brass in 7 nights of perfectly orchestrated, superbly executed celebration.
Brisbane 7 piece Doch are joined by sweet-voiced siren Silvia Entcheva, who has just been nominated alongside Hugh Jackman for Outstanding Performance in a Stage Musical for This Show is About People. (Sylvia is the only female nominee in this category.) Also starring in the concert is the devastating Goran Maric and a special guest direct from Serbia, as well as an assembly of Australia’s finest musicians in this exuberant tribute to the musical traditions of Eastern Europe.
