Frankly!

FRANKLY! It's a Pop Festival, returns in 2010 with a stellar collection of artists who work at the eclectic end of the pop spectrum. Following on from the highly acclaimed debut festival in 2009, this year's FRANKLY! features a hand picked line up of sounds from the USA and Oceania.

Travelling to Australia for the first time in many moons, Xiu Xiu arrive in full band mode on the back of their new album 'Dear God, I Hate Myself', which Pitchfork called "cultivated chaos that produces complex music filled with insinuating hooks". Joining them are one time Brooklyn, now Los Angeles based pop-experimentalists High Places who arrive to celebrate their recently issued 'High Places Vs Mankind' LP. Added to this are performances from the shining stars at this year's SxSW festival; Crayon Fields, Melbourne balladeer Guy Blackman and elated post-pop impressionists Fabulous Diamonds, bringing you one heck of a day of avant-pop goodness.
