These free workshops will offer participation in Tibetan Singing and the Art of Sand Mandala.

Sand Mandala Workshop

Participants in these workshops learn about the meaning and history of the sand mandala. Tenzin will share his knowledge of the traditional techniques using the chak phur to create designs with coloured sand, allowing everyone to experience the beauty and challenges of the art form.

Singing and Discussion: The Songs of the 6th Dalai Lama

Tenzin leads an enjoyable workshop in the Tibetan style of vocal projection. He shares his knowledge of the technique by drawing on the stories and songs of Tibet's nomadic people. And Discussion: The Songs of the 6^th Dalai Lama (A Poet, a Lover and a Dalai Lama). Come ready to sing.
