Paris might be lovely in the springtime, but in the winter it sucks - especially after you've just been dumped. Lusting for sunshine, delicious Frenchman Jérôme heads to California in pursuit of stardom.

However a seedy hostel, convoluted public transit, flaky people, empty beaches, and tediously competitive casting procedures are not really on his fantasy-filled agenda. Meanwhile, relentless images of his ex-lover and his new boy toy shagging continue to haunt Jérôme's nights. Before reality crushes Jérôme's ambition, prospects rise as he befriends a gorgeous pot dealer, a sexy trans hooker, and a salty-sweet old drag queen.

These new connections and experiences make Jérôme's decision whether to return home to a stable life in Paris or grow roots in the strange and wonderful city, that much harder.
