Liquid Architecture turns its ears south, drawing up sounds from the Antarctic Continent

In 2012, Liquid Architecture anticipates the centenary of Mawson’s Expedition south to Antarctica with a festival dedicated to our planet’s mammoth ice continent – Antarctic Convergence.

Debuting new works from artists including Philip Samartzis (aus), Douglas Quin (usa), Werner Dafeldecker (au), Robin Fox (aus), Scott Morrison (aus) and Lawrence English (aus) – Liquid Architecture offers without question it’s most vital and compelling program.

Over the two evenings each of the artists offer unique and profound rendering of Antarctica, its residents, landscapes and environments. There has never been a better time to tune your ears to the ice and listen deeply.
