Australian jazz legend Mark Isaacs and Thirsty Merc’s Rai Thistlethwayte unite to explore the exciting world of jazz piano in a night of formidable musicianship and energy.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Mark Isaacs has performed the world over and collaborated with some of the most esteemed figures in international jazz including Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler and Vinnie Colaiuta. In 2007 Mark Isaacs was nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album.
For this exciting collaboration Thirsty Merc’s Rai Thistlethwayte, who is renowned for his charismatic live rock performances, returns to his jazz roots. Performing together on two concert grand pianos, Mark and Rai embark on a journey that will exhilarate from the moment it begins.
