Meow Meow - Feline Intimate

We know she’s slinky, we know she’s sexy, we know she’s superb; well now Meow Meow is being secretive, sneaking into town under cover of darkness to get up close and squishy with Brisbane for two intimate shows at Brisbane Powerhouse.

Coming directly from Moscow and the Sydney Opera House and on her way back to New York, the purr-fect post, post-modern cabaret diva could not resist dropping by to treat Brisbane fans to a delicious meal of their favourite Meow morsels.

Meow’s unique brand of kamikaze cabaret kitsch and performance art exotica has hypnotised audiences worldwide and taken her from New York to Shanghai, Berlin to Edinburgh. There’s not a city in the world that’s not head over heels in love with this fabulous feline.

For these special shows, Meow will be performing with pianist and composer, John Thorn who won the 2005 Green Room Award for musical direction for Mark Trevorrow, It's About Time and who has another five Green Room Award nominations to his bow along with numerous theatre, screen and musical credits.

This is Meow Meow stripped bare (figuratively speaking of course, although you never know your luck) and close enough that you can touch her (literally, we’re sure she’ll love it).
