Miss Random - Video Art

Miss Random’s video exhibit integrates a body of work, which explores the mountainous overflow of the waters in Norway, contrasted with the drought stricken lands of Australia. Inspired by the Earth's natural healing waters, the hands beckon the earth to find harmonious flow. These video installations encapsulate different cultures, inspired from a world delicately balanced in a symbiotic dance, revealing secrets of the underworld, captured from earthly organic surrounds and its mythical inhabitants.
Andrea Werner (Melbourne, Australia) and Eva Lunde (Stavanger, Norway) have been collaborating since they met at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne in 2003. They work with experimental video, photography and installations. Exploring nature and investigating emotions reflected in landscapes as well as in the body. Simultaneously exploring the possibilities of digital effects. Throughout their partnership they have mixed live video at several festivals around Australia, in Norway and in Portugal. They have had their individual short films screened at film festivals and are currently forming a body of work, which investigates water…‘Life’...
