Richard Schechner Four Day Intensive Masterclass

A unique opportunity to learn from the founder of the renowned experimental troupe The Performance Group, now known as the Wooster Group.

Join fellow artists from the Australian and Asia Pacific region in this workshop where you will learn the Rasaboxes technique direct from its creator. On this rare occasion Richard will also offer a series of lectures and conversations focussing on his extensive knowledge of anthropology, sociology, religious ritual and folklore as well as a multicultural approach to creating work.

All participants will have the opportunity to attend all World Theatre Festival performances from Thu 21 – Sun 24 February (included in masterclass cost).

This professional development program is available for up to 20 people. Candidates will be chosen based on suitability and availability.
