Robert Forster: 15 Songs About Brisbane
Sat 18 Sep 2010
One of Brisbane’s most innovative performance spaces, QUT Festival Theatre, is playing host to one of the city’s most ground-breaking and celebrated musical sons during this year’s Festival.
Robert Forster has earned his place in the history of Australian music; as one of the founding members of The Go-Betweens and a critically acclaimed solo artist, he is as prolific as he is revered.
For this very special show Robert presents a sparkling cross section of his catalogue - old, new and borrowed. In a tribute to his own home town, each song will have a special connection to Brisbane.
So come and be captivated by the visual and acoustic majesty of an open-air performance at Brisbane Festival’s QUT Festival Theatre, a purpose built amphitheatre at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
