Brisbane-based choreographer, Claire Marshall, who has worked with the likes of Powderfinger, Kate Miller Heidke, Little Birdy and more, continues her exploration of the FortitudeValley’s club district.

Drawing from observations in the Valley, this contemporary dance work pushes the audience experience of club culture to new levels. Ever shifting between the strangely attractive to the somewhat disturbing, it explores the agendas of the DJ, bar staff, club owner, and the punters.

 Slowdive sees the Visy Theatre transform into a night club where performers and audience share the space. You’ll forget you are even in the theatre.

This is Claire Marshall’s penultimate development of Hey Scenester, which sold out in January. If you missed Hey Scenester, don’t miss Slowdive. And, if you managed to get a ticket to Hey Scenester, this is by no means the same show. It is a whole new clubbing experience!
