A refreshingly honest portrait about adolescent self-discovery, sexual identity, and falling in love with your best friend.
It's the summer holidays and 16-year-old Sonja has outgrown everything. Her boyfriend is boring, her mother aggravates her and she seems crammed into their little flat. As friends swap sex stories in bus shelters and boys flock round her best friend, Sonja begins to realise the true object of her affection.
What makes this tender coming-of-age story special are the strong performances by the young cast under the direction of first-time filmmaker and former actress Liimatainen.
