Speed of Purple

The newest musical project from Sallie Campbell (Kate Miller-Heidke Band, Tulipan) showcasing her instrumental and vocal compositions through pulsing rhythms and intense musicality. Driven by piano and violin, accompanied by percussion, the four members of Speed of Purple produce a memorable combination of spirited strings and sassy vocals. Most recently appearing at Woodford Folk Festival, various Brisbane venues and nationwide as support for Kate Miller Heidke.

The Thursday night show will feature special guest James Lees on drumkit for an extra kick to celebrate the opening night of Restrung.
