TaikOz – Taiko Workshops

TAIKO DRUMMING IS FOR EVERYBODY! WORKSHOP

Learn how to play the awe-inspiring Japanese taiko by joining the members of TaikOz in a 2-hour workshop.

Prior musical training is not a requirement – just bring your Mind, Body and Spirit.

During the workshop you will:

] Experience close-up the amazing sound and energy of the traditional Japanese drums – the taiko

] Learn about the music, the history and concepts behind the Art of Wadaiko (drumming)

] Enjoy making music with other people and receive a good physical workout at the same time!

TaikOz is presenting two workshops at Brisbane Powerhouse during their SOUND ON SOUND season with Topology and Karak Percussion. 

Taiko workshops are open to all ages from 14 years and above.
