TaikOz Workshops at QUT

Join Australia's premier taiko drum ensemble for a series of workshops at Queensland University of Technology.

TaikOz welcomes people coming from all walks of life and a variety of cultural backgrounds aged from 6 right through to 66. The sheer physicality of the taiko gives everyone a great workout while having fun making music together.

TaikOz members have trained and performed with Japanese taiko masters Sado-Ondekoza, Eitetsu Hayashi and Sen Amano and over the course of ten years have collectively established a definitive Australian taiko sound.

Please note the workshops are not at Brisbane Powerhouse. Workshops will be held at Queensland University of Technology's Kelvin Grove campus on Victoria Park Road, located two kilometres north of Brisbane's CBD.  Workshops will be in room M206, M-Block.
