Ten Hands

Topology’s Ten Hands was a big hit at Belgium’s Ghent Festival last year, but they wanted to take it further.

Working with director Annie Lee, the quintet has created an immersive, enthralling theatrical experience with their epic one-hour composition. The music takes a very fresh approach, the five artists working intensely together to compose using creative processes as much derived from chamber music, progressive rock and theatrical improvisation as jazz and indie. The result is a powerful and moving emotional journey, playful, tender, meditative, bold and joyful. Really, there’s nothing else quite like this happening today.
