School teacher Lucie can’t stop dreaming of babies, so her and her girlfriend Marion decide to plunge into the complicated territory of starting a family together.
It seems everyone has an opinion on how Lucie and Marion should go about baby-making, and soon the pressure of choice begins to rock their romance. However love prevails in this funny quirky tale of lesbian motherhood in the French suburbs, and thanks to the support of their lesbian friends plus a helpful vial of sperm from long-time friend Hugo the happy couple get pregnant.
But what happens when Hugo, wants to be more involved with the baby’s life than either woman expected?
This warm and witty exploration of a modern family’s origins may uncover more questions than answers, but will certainly strike a chord with any same-sex couple who have themselves taken the plunge into the new world.
