Can You Keep A Promise?

Find me in the nooks and crannies of Brisbane Powerhouse. I’ll greet you with a smile. Take a seat opposite me and open your ears. There’s something I’d like to share with you. I promise I’ll be honest. Perhaps there’s something you’d like to share with me? I can keep a secret. Can you keep a promise?

Created and devised by performers from Backbone Youth Arts Performance Makers strand, The Pact is an opportunity for audience members to engage in an intimate experience with a stranger. These site-specific installations will transform hidden pockets of Brisbane Powerhouse into spaces of whispered words and secrets, directed by local emerging director, Thomas Quirk who was the Performance Coordinator for the 2010 2high Festival.

Duration: Each of the five Performances run for between 5 to 15minutes. Audience members can choose to attend one performance, a few , or all of the performances. The performances will be running in 2hour sessions at the start time listed.
