Thank God it’s Friday. Kick off the end of the week with the cool sounds of our monthly live music residents.
Fridays are about to get a lot more interesting as some of the best Indie-Pop/Alt Country bands around stake their claim on the Turbine Platform. No ‘one night only’ gigs here. Each band will have an entire month to capture the hearts of Brisbane music lovers with a set every week.
December Resident: Sue Ray
December we feature alt-country music delight Sue Ray. Sue has been performing professionally for over 15 years, and in that time, released two critically acclaimed albums, Red Roses (Magoo, Powderfinger and Kate Miller-Heidke) and Best Beware (Jamie Trevaskis, Nathan Hollywood and Tom Cooney). In 2012 Red Roses was nominated for Best Country Album in the AIR Independent Music Awards. Catch her for the first two Fridays in December.
