The phenomenal Tom Thum - frontman of TOM TOM CREW and beatbox addict - makes his solo debut at Brisbane Festival.

Australia’s most prolific multi-vocalist has fronted sold out shows from Berlin to New York, competed in international beatboxing championships and shared a stage with hip-hop legends Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash.

Direct from London and Edinburgh Fringe, Thum comes home to Brisbane to push the limits of the human voice with not a synthesizer, drum machine or sampler in sight.

Armed only with a microphone, Thum creates a mind-blowing soundscape of impossible beats, phenomenal sounds and an entire big band’s worth of instruments.
