Brisbane Powerhouse presents
Wholphin - Rare and Unseen Films
Sat 4 Dec 2010
CURATED BY DOMINIC JARVIS
The McSweeney’s DVD magazine is now a bi-monthly Brisbane Powerhouse film event, lovingly curated with some of the best short movies, documentaries and uncategorisable films.
December’s screening, the conclusion of the Wholphin screening series, includes a local Brisbane film starring a bi-polar Santa, multiple fake orgasms, an extended animation from Carson Mell and, by popular demand, a re-screening of Wholphin’s debut film, Death to the Tinman.
This will be your very last chance to see Wholphin on the big screen at the Brisbane Powerhouse, so make sure you drop on by!
* December Wholphin will be the final screening of the series.
“An eclectic but irresistible hodgepodge of cultural ephemera” Rolling Stone Magazine
“A perfect balance between political, social and outright attention-grabbing films” Short Ends Magazine
“Features a wealth of rarely seen gems” Documentary Magazine
