Brisbane Powerhouse presents
World Theatre Festival 2011
Wed 9 - Sun 20 Feb 2011
World Theatre Festival (WTF) will make you ask yourself the question, "wtf is theatre?". It may change what you think the word 'theatre' means and it will certainly be a different way of seeing theatre.
Like a music festival, WTF is not only about the individual shows but it’s also about the experience of seeing them and sharing that experience. So stick around between shows to chat with the performers and the audience; eat, drink, argue, discuss, blog and get involved and passionate about what you loved, what you hated, what really want theatre to be and what you really think.
Experiencing WTF will be like buying a budget airline ticket around the world; from New Zealand to Chile to New York and The Netherlands, all in a day, but with more leg room and better food.
WTF offers performances, scratch works (works-in-progress), masterclasses and forums.
Tell us WTF you think on the website www.worldtheatrefestival.com.au
