DELICATE DRAMA OF CULTURAL IDENTITY AND DISPLACEMENT

Three generations of women shared a goal: to leave the poverty and uncertainty of their homeland for the promises of the First World. Such is the story behind Urban Theatre Project’s critically acclaimed work, The Folding Wife, showing in the intimate surrounds of the Visy Theatre from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 May.

They say time flies when you are having fun but it is still hard to believe Brisbane Powerhouse will be TEN years old on Monday 10 May 2010.
